ABOUT 10,000 people visited the Shugborough estate for a summer concert.
They packed into the estate on Saturday and Sunday to see Jools Holland, Rick Astley and Tony Hadley perform in front of the mansion house.
Event organisers say they are hoping to attract similar acts for the 2011 season.
Group manager Liz Carruthers said: “We have a reputation as being one of the most scenic and professional venues in the region and hope to build on this next year.”
The last of Shugborough’s summer of picnics takes place next month, with an outdoor picnic movie spectacular.
Feelgood blockbuster Mamma Mia! will be on big screen on August 20 and cult movie The Rocky Horror Show will play the next day.
